We deliver by courier throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, NY, and coast-to-coast across the 48 contiguous United States via overnight express shipment.
All orders require three to four business days to process before shipping/delivery. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, determined by common and other freight carriers. Some exceptions may be made for hand-delivered items on a case-by-case basis. Unfortunately, we cannot ordinarily accommodate same-day orders or any orders with less than 24 hours’ notice.
Your Packaged Shipment
Packages are generally dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment and are shipped via USPS Express Mail or FedEx with tracking and drop-off without signature. If you prefer delivery by UPS or another carrier, please contact us in order to facilitate shipment. Whichever shipment choice you make, we will provide you with a link to track your package online.
Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect your goodies.
Boxes are amply sized and every measure will be taken to ensure your items are well protected during transit.
Ordering and Shipping Confirmation
Upon successfully submitting your order, you will immediately see a thank you page containing your order number and order details, which you should print for your records. After ordering, you will also receive an email confirmation from www.cutiepiesnyc.com containing your order details. We will normally confirm receipt of your order within an hour of ordering. We will also email you when your order has shipped and provide you with your order tracking information where possible. Order status and tracking information may also be seen via the View Order Status and History screen on the Storefront on which you placed your order, where available.
Before your baked goods are shipped they will be frozen to ensure sturdiness and freshness upon arriving. Therefore, overnight shipping via USPS Priority Express or Fedex is recommended.
We require at least a contact phone number for gift recipients. If you want your gift delivery to be a surprise, we will endeavor to keep the details a secret — however, you must provide a contact phone number and valid estimate of when the recipient will be available to receive their items. Our creations are perishable and in most cases require refrigeration; they cannot be left on someone’s doorstep or desk indefinitely.
Please include accurate delivery address information; a faulty or incomplete address resulting in redelivery, delivery address changes or non-delivery will incur a $50 surcharge. Please provide an apartment, unit, or room number in the delivery address if applicable; if using a business delivery address, please provide any special instructions pertaining to security measures/lobby particulars. Deliveries to colleges and universities may take additional time. Delivery charges for items hand-delivered within Manhattan and Brooklyn are based upon zip code.
A Note About Doormen
If your building has a doorman or concierge, please familiarize yourself with their policies regarding package acceptance/available refrigeration before placing your order. Our items are perishable and should be kept cold — if you won’t be on the premises to guarantee their safe storage, please let us know so that safe storage may be secured.
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Discover Card and VISA credit cards, as well as PayPal. Depending upon circumstances, we may also accept cash, checks, or CODs for orders placed online, by telephone, mail or email.
Telephone and Mail Orders
We encourage you to order online for the fastest possible service. Should you have a custom request or specific dietary needs, however, you may opt to order by telephone or email. In order to expedite the process, please browse our shop beforehand, make notes, and have your credit card ready before placing your call. You may also place orders by email, including payment in full for your order. Personal checks will require a ten-day hold for clearance.
Because Cutie Pies NYC does not charge your credit card until your order is released for shipment, it is possible that the charge may be rejected. In this event, we will send you an email notifying you of this occurrence and cancel the related order.
We understand that unplanned issues may come up and you may need to cancel an order. Should that happen, we respectfully ask for scheduled orders to be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.
